Hi, my name is Amy Shrader. I am a landscape artist from South Central Pennsylvania. I enjoy painting with oils because of versatility and the colors are bright and vibrant. I really enjoy painting landscapes to bring the outdoor beauty indoors. Most of paintings are done from nature scenes that I am trying to recreate on canvas.
I have been painting for about five years and have next to no training. I woke up one day and decided I was going to learn to oil paint. My best training has been through trial and error and people asking, “Can you paint ________?”
I have a few paintings at The Cumberland Shop in Shippensburg, PA and I set-up at craft shows in the area.
